Aircraft Maintenance Technician

Aircraft Maintenance Technicians must have the skills, knowledge and ability to perform inspections and troubleshooting of an aircraft, including airframe structures, engines and aircraft systems. They disassemble and remove defective parts, assemble and install replacement parts. Aircraft Maintenance Technicians interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints, tests aircraft systems, records problems and action taken to rectify them and maintain an accurate statement of the maintenance history of the aircraft.

Aircraft Structural Technician

Aircraft Structural Technician must have the skills, knowledge and ability to select, measure, shear, cut, bend, form, heat treat, seal, fabricate, fit, inspect, paint and refinishes parts and components to drawing specifications. An Aircraft Structural Technician drills, countersinks, dimples, reams and taps holes for bolting, screws, riveting and installation of special fasteners. Aircraft Structural Technicians install completed components in aircrafts and verifies the installation and operation of the components affected.
