Strategic Direction

transCDA’s mandate is future-oriented, with goals and activities that both support existing programs and expand into new occupations, new training and career development models and innovative methods of delivering programs and services. Maintaining partnerships among employers and workers, governments, educators and trainers, and other groups is the key.

Our mandate also includes reaching out to other transportation sectors that are not part of transCDA; and to all potential labour force supply pools to attract and train Aboriginal people, immigrants and visible minorities, persons with disabilities, women and other under-represented groups in transportation trades and industry training programs.
